HEART WITH YOU:

Listening to the Quraan from Allah Himself

Feel, as a part of your effort to "remain" in the presence of Allah, as if you are listening to the Quraan from Allah Himself. Al-Ghazali tells, in the Ihya, of a person who could move nearer to the Quraan and could taste more of its sweetness by feeling that; first, as if he was listening to it from the Prophet (peace be upon him); then, as if from the angel Jibra'il; and lastly, as if from Allah Himself.

'Isa will say: Be glorified It was not mine to utter that to which I had no right. If I used to say it, then Thou knewest it. Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I know not what is in Thy mind. Lo! Thou, only Thou art the Knower of Things Hidden. The Holy Quraan Surah 5. " Maa'idah " ; verse 116 )
