Emily is a California girl raised in the famous surfing town of Santa Cruz. She travelled across the country to experience the hospitality of the South by attending the University of Alabama... Roll Tide! She earned a bachelor's degree in News Media from the UA College of Communication and Information Sciences while also interning as a reporter for the local TV News Station, WVUA 23. During her time in college, Emily also pursued a minor in Cultural and Global Perspectives while studying and living in Florence, Italy and travelling throughout many parts of Europe.
She enjoys writing for magazines, hiking, skiing, and of course, horseback riding. These passions all contributed to her finding a new home right here in the Biggest Little City in the World. She has a passion to meet new people, share stories, and build strong connections within her community.
