Staying Warm Sunday
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) -Daytime temperatures have been running anywhere between 8 and 10 degrees above normal and that trend will continue Sunday.
What we will also see is increasing clouds over Las Vegas as a series of weak frontal boundaries could bring unsettled weather here just in time for Christmas Eve.
A low Tuesday will produce breezy to windy conditions and the chance of some light valley rain and light snow for the Spring Mountains.
Rainfall accumulation for the Las Vegas area will be light, as for mountain snow at most 3 to 6 inches could fall around Kyle and Lee Canyons.
As quickly this system rolls in it should clear our area early Christmas Day.
The backside of the front bringing us potential active weather will cool us down back into the upper 50;’s.
Thursday another shortwave could trigger more scattered showers but again it is expected to be light
Temperatures will remain in the upper 50′s through Friday and they will the climb back into the low 60′s by next Saturday.
