Locked In a Mild and Dry Pattern
Late December is typically the coldest time of the year in Las Vegas with an average high temperature of 56° in Las Vegas. We’ll be staying 10° above that with dry conditions across Southern Nevada through the weekend.
Some high clouds will continue to pass through at times this week, with all of the rain staying well up to our north. We’ll start with morning low temperatures in the 40s on Wednesday with mostly sunny skies across the area. The forecast high in Las Vegas during the afternoon is at 66° with light wind in the forecast.
The wind will stay light through the weekend with partly to mostly sunny skies. High temperatures hold in the mid to upper 60s.
The First Alert is out for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day next week. A storm system passing by to our north will be close enough to bring shower chances back later Tuesday into early Wednesday morning. Wind gusts in the 20-30 mph range are also in the forecast.
