Breezy Saturday with Slight Chance for Showers
Quiet weather returns to the region Friday, ahead of breezier conditions and another slight shower chance on Saturday.
Another storm system will begin to move inland this weekend, bringing a slight chance for light shower on Saturday. Please note, any rain will be minor. Instead, the more widespread impact will be an increased breeze late in the day on Saturday, with gusts expected to peak 25-35 mph through most regions here in Southern Nevada. The strongest winds will be felt on the higher terrain, as Wind Advisory is expected to run from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Saturday. Peak gusts from Lee, Kyle and Red Rock Canyons are forecast to blow 55 mph, with sustained southwest winds 25-35 mph.
We’ll head into next week with milder weather on the way. Forecast high temperatures are back in the 60s for the second half of next week with dry weather in the forecast.
