FIRST ALERT: Shower Chances And Wind
First Alert Weather Days continue through Wednesday with more wind and passing scattered showers. Drier and cooler weather returns for Thanksgiving on Thursday.
A Wind Advisory remains in effect for the Las Vegas Valley through 9 p.m. Tuesday with gusts up to 45 mph. Up in the Spring Mountains, a High Wind Warning is in effect with wind gusts over the mountain peaks up to 75 mph.
A cold front pushing through early Wednesday morning will bring the chance of scattered showers. The best chance of rain is early in the day before sunshine emerges in the afternoon. Cooler air will bring the forecast high down to 62° on Wednesday.
We dry out for Thanksgiving with a forecast high of 59° in Las Vegas. Some clouds will be in and out this weekend, but we keep it dry with calm conditions in Southern Nevada. High temperatures hold in the low 60s.
