Dry Now, Increasing Wind and Rain Chances Next
A gradual increase in temperatures will push Thursday’s and Friday’s high temperatures into the mid-to-upper 60s, into the low 70s by this weekend. The continued increase in temperatures Saturday will be assisted by vertical mixing though, as wind gusts are expected to peak at 30-40 mph.
Most weather impacts will hold off for the F1 races in Las Vegas Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will be the 50-55° range for the 10 p.m. qualifying races on Thursday and Friday night, with light wind both nights. For the Formula 1 Grand Prix Saturday night, temperatures will be around 60° for the 10 p.m. race with wind gusts still in the in the 20-30 mph range.
A breeze continues on Sunday with slight shower chances across Southern Nevada. High temperatures will also fall back into the mid 60s. Scattered shower chances continue Monday-Wednesday, with an increasing breeze Tuesday and Wednesday.
The current forecast shows drier conditions are expected on Thanksgiving Day. Thursday will bring a drop in our high temperatures though, down into the low 60s/upper 50s throughout the region.
