LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Frustrated prosecutors were in the courtroom Tuesday morning in the case of a slain Las Vegas journalist.

The former Clark County politician, Robert Telles, is charged with the killing of Las Vegas Review-Journal investigative reporter, Jeff German.

The trial had been delayed over the issue of who could have access to German’s laptop after it was seized by police. Last week, an attorney representing the paper said they have finished reviewing the laptop,

There was frustration in court from prosecutors because Telles’ lawyer says more time is needed for collecting evidence. However, the trial is still scheduled to begin Aug. 12.
