LVMPD to debut three new uniform variations until Jan. 1

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Las Vegas Metro Police Department Officers set to wear new uniforms.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Officer Luis Vidal, Officer Robert Wicks, and Public Information Officer Sgt. Alejandra Zambrano joined FOX5 on Behind the Badge to share more.

You may do a double take the next time you see a Metro officer out and about because they may not be wearing the uniform you’re used to seeing them in.

Three variations will be worn by officers throughout the valley until Jan. 1.

Some of the benefits of wearing the new uniforms include visibility, according to Officer Zambrano.
