Where to recycle your Christmas trees around the Las Vegas Valley
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - After the presents are opened and the ornaments have been put away, it’s time to figure out what to do with your Clark Griswold Christmas tree (she’s a beaut!).
Cities around Las Vegas use the recycled trees by turning them into organic mulch and then using that mulch to feed their current trees.
There are multiple locations that are offering Christmas tree recycling around the Las Vegas Valley.
NORTH LAS VEGAS
You can recycle your Christmas tree in the following locations in North Las Vegas:
- Aviary Park- 6750 Aviary Way, N. Las Vegas 89084
- Seastrand Park- 6330 Camino Eldorado Pkwy, N. Las Vegas 89031
- Cheyenne Sports Complex- 3500 E. Cheyenne Ave, N. Las Vegas 89030
Recycling Christmas trees in North Las Vegas is available from Dec. 26-Jan. 16. Flocked and artificial trees can not be recycled through the program.

HENDERSON
Henderson residents can recycle their trees at the following locations:
- Acacia Park, 50 Casa del Fuego St.
- Anthem Hills Park, 2256 N. Reunion Dr.
- Arroyo Grande Sports Complex, 298 Arroyo Grande Blvd.
- Capriola Park, 2155 Via Firenze
- Discovery Park, 2011 Paseo Verde Pkwy.
- Madeira Canyon Park, 2390 Democracy Dr.
- Mission Hills Park, 551 E. Mission Dr.
- Morrell Park, 500 Harris St.
- Pecos Legacy Park, 150 Pecos Rd.
- Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, 1575 Galleria Dr.
Additionally, Henderson residents are encouraged to use recycled mulch in their yards. Free mulch is available at Pecos Legacy Park and Acacia Demonstration Gardens (Acacia Park), but residents will need to bring their own shovel and container, per city officials.
