A former Clark County politician is now serving his murder sentence at High Desert State prison.

A source close to the case confirmed Robert Telles will speak at his sentencing hearing Wednesday morning.

The former Clark County public administrator found guilty of killing a Las Vegas journalist is filing a motion to discuss jury communications and their external sources.

Robert Telles says he will continue to claim his innocence even if it means spending the next few decades behind bars. 

This week marked two years since Las Vegas Review Journal reporter Jeff German was stabbed to death outside his Summerlin home.

Robert Telles is “doing just fine,” his attorney tells FOX5 News. Just one day ago, a jury found Telles guilty in the stabbing death of Las Vegas journalist Jeff German.

The jury finds a former Clark County politician, Robert Telles, guilty in the killing of a Las Vegas journalist and sentences him to life with possible parole.

Jurors will continue deliberating in the trial of a former Clark County official accused of killing a Las Vegas journalist back in May of 2022.

Closing arguments have wrapped up in the Robert Telles trial and the case now rests in the hands of the jury.
