LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Las Vegas Aviators defeated the El Paso Chihuahuas, 8-4, in game four of the six-game series before a fireworks night sellout crowd of 8,283 at Las Vegas Ballpark (83rd all-time sellout at L.V. Ballpark).

Las Vegas, winners of a season-high five straight games, improved to 22-21 and El Paso dropped to 17-26. Las Vegas is over the .500 mark for the first time this season.

The Aviators built a 5-0 lead after two innings. Four players recorded multiple-hit games. Second baseman Logan Davidson was 3-for-5, double, triple, HR, 3 RBI, two runs scored; center fielder Lawrence Butler was 2-for-5, double, SB, two runs scored; shortstop Nick Allen was 2-for-5, triple, 2 RBI, SB, run scored and catcher Carlos Perez was 2-for-5, triple, RBI, run scored.

Aviators right-hander Colin Peluse pitched 4.0 innings in the no decision. He allowed 3 hits, 1 run, walked 3 and struck out 1 on 56 pitches (33 strikes).

El Paso left-hander Jackson Wolf suffered the loss. He pitched 4.0 innings and allowed 10 hits, 7 runs, walked 2 and struck out 3 on 88 pitches (50 strikes).

Chihuahuas third baseman Matthew Batten was 3-for-4, double, RBI, run scored.

Game five of the six-game homestand is Saturday at 7:05 p.m. on Friends Night/Coffee Mug Giveaway, to the first 2,000 fans through the gates.
