Las Vegas Aviators win 3rd straight game

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Las Vegas Aviators defeated the El Paso Chihuahuas, 9-7, in game two of the six-game series before a crowd of 5,042 at Las Vegas Ballpark.
The Aviators, winners of three straight games, improved to 20-21 and El Paso dropped to 17-24. Las Vegas leads the series, 2-games-to-0.
Aviators shortstop Logan Davidson was 2-for-5, 4 RBI, two runs scored. He hit a two-run home run in the third inning and a two-run single in the sixth. Third baseman Armando Alvarez was 2-for-3, walk, two-run home run in the second inning.
Las Vegas left-hander Brady Basso pitched 5.0 solid innings in the no decision. He allowed 3 hits, 1 run, walked 3 and struck out 6 on 81 pitches (49 strikes).
El Paso, trailing 5-1, scored four runs in the sixth inning to tie the game. The Aviators then scored four runs in the sixth to lead 9-5.
El Paso designated hitter Matthew Batten was 3-for-4, double, triple, walk, 2 RBI, two runs scored and left fielder Tirso Ornelas was 2-for-4, double, solo home run.
Chihuahuas left-hander Daniel Camarena pitched 3.1 innings in the no decision. He allowed 3 hits, 5 runs, walked 4 and struck out 1 on 65 pitches (34 strikes).
