LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Las Vegas Aviators defeated the Reno Aces, 8-0, in game four of the seven-game series before a crowd of 6,373 at Las Vegas Ballpark.

The Aviators, winners of three straight games, improved to 15-15 and Reno dropped to 13-17.

Las Vegas is 13-6 over the last 19 games to reach the .500 mark for the first time this season.

Aviators right-hander Osvaldo Bido improved to 4-1 with a season-high 7.0 shutout innings. He allowed 2 hits, walked 1 and struck out 8 on 90 pitches (61 strikes). It was Las Vegas’ second shutout of the season.

Las Vegas center fielder Daz Cameron was 4-for-5, lead-off home run, double, 3 RBI, two runs scored. Shortstop Logan Davidson was 2-for-3, walk, double, 2 RBI, run scored and second baseman Hoy Park was 1-for-2, two walks, double, run scored.

Reno right-hander Chris Ellis suffered the loss. He pitched 4.0 innings and allowed 4 hits, 3 runs, walked 2 and struck out 4 on 78 pitches (42 strikes).

Aces third baseman Andres Chaparro was 1-for-3, walk and first baseman Ronaldo Hernandez was 1-for-3, double.

Game five of the series (L.V. leads, 3-games-to-1) is Friday at 7:05 p.m. on Aviators Cap Night, to the first 2,000 fans through the gates.
