LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford has filed charges in Carson City regarding the 2020 “fake electors” case.
According to officials six Nevada residents will face felony charges for allegedly falsely impersonating presidential electors.
The Attorney General’s office have announced this preemptive measure to offset legal limitations.
Officials reported the case was dismissed by District Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus due to improper venue. This decision is being argued and if the Supreme Court rules in favor of the AG’s office the charges in Carson City will be dropped.
The six individuals were indicted by a grand jury in Dec. 2023.
