Las Vegas Aviators lose 2nd game to Sugar Land Space Cowboys

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Sugar Land Space Cowboys defeated the Las Vegas Aviators, 10-9, in game three of the six-game series before a crowd of 6,690 at Las Vegas Ballpark.
Sugar Land improves to 35-19 and Las Vegas dropped to 26-28. The Space Cowboys have the best record in the 10-team PCL.
The Space Cowboys, trailing 6-1, scored nine runs in the third inning to take a 10-6 lead. Sugar Land second baseman Will Wagner was 2-for-2, three walks, double, SF, RBI, run scored. Third baseman Jesus Bastidas was 2-for-5, HBP, solo home run, two runs scored and catcher Luke Berryhill was 2-for-4, walk, RBI, run scored.
Las Vegas right-hander Royber Salinas pitched 2.1 innings in the no decision. He allowed 3 hits, 4 runs, walked 5 and struck out 4 on 65 pitches (29 strikes).
Aviators catcher Yohel Pozo was 4-for-6, HR, 2 RBI, three runs scored. Second baseman Armando Alvarez was 3-for-4, walk, double, 3 RBI; shortstop Nick Allen was 3-for-5, walk, double, two runs scored and designated hitter Quincy Nieporte was 3-for-5, 2 RBI.
Sugar Land left-hander Eric Lauer pitched 3.0 innings in the no decision. He allowed 9 hits, 7 hits, walked 2 and struck out 5 on 73 pitches (49 strikes).
Game four of the six-game homestand is Friday at 7:05 p.m. on Aviators Jersey Night, to the first 2,000 fans through the gates.
