Las Vegas Aviators win with clutch walk-off hit

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Las Vegas Aviators (Reyes de Plata) defeated the El Paso Chihuahuas (Margaritas) 3-2 in the opener of the six-game homestand before a crowd of 5,046 at Las Vegas Ballpark.
Las Vegas improved to 19-21 and El Paso dropped to 17-23.
Aviators shortstop Jacob Wilson (2-for-5) delivered a walk-off, fielder’s choice to the shortstop, RBI with the bases loaded (one out).
Las Vegas designated hitter Drew Lugbauer was 2-for-3, double, walk; center fielder Daz Cameron (1-for-3, two walks) hit a solo home run in the third inning and third baseman Aledmys Diaz (ML Rehab) was 1-for-3, RBI.
Aviators left-hander Jack O’Loughlin pitched 6.0 innings in the no decision. He allowed 9 hits, 2 runs, walked 2 and struck out 5 on 97 pitches (57 strikes).
El Paso right-hander Adam Mazur pitched 6.0 innings in the no decision. He allowed 6 hits, 2 runs, walked 2 and struck out 6 on 87 pitches (55 strikes).
Chihuahuas third baseman Eguy Rosario (2-for-4, 2 RBI) hit a solo home run in the third inning and first baseman Matthew Batten was 2-for-5, double, stolen base.
