Nevada Secretary of State launched multiple investigations into the 2024 General Election
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Nevada Secretary of State’s Office is investigating nearly 200 double votes in the 2024 General Election.
A double vote is when someone votes or tries to vote twice.
This could be done by voting in person after sending in a mail ballot.
The Secretary of State’s Office says there are 182 investigations.
That’s out of nearly 1.5 million ballots cast in the General Election this year.
Double voting is a felony in Nevada.
Some of these cases could be referred to prosecutors for criminal charges.
