Firefighters confirmed with the homeowner that no one was inside at the time.
The first fire unit arrived six minutes after their assignment, a LVFR spokesperson said in a news release. The crews then began a defensive strategy.
No injuries are being reported. However, a FOX5 photojournalist on the scene saw first responders help a bicyclist who hit a fire hose line.
Fire crews tell FOX5 the roof and second floor collapsed.
