Police say numerous monkey sightings have been reported in this city
ORANGE CITY, Fla. (Gray News) – Authorities in a Florida city have reported some unusual animal sightings recently.
The police department in Orange City said it has received multiple reports of monkey sightings within the city.
The department posted photos taken of the monkey by witnesses along with instructions if anyone should encounter one.
If anyone comes across the monkeys, they are urged to contact the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for help.
Police said safety is important if encountering this monkey, and the way to ensure that is to not feed or approach the animals.
