Disturbance leads to barricade in Inspirada neighborhood
Henderson police say one person is in custody
UPDATE - 12/19/24
Henderson’s SWAT team were called out to the scene after a suspect barricaded in the home.
With the assistance of the Henderson SWAT team, detectives took one male suspect into custody.
The suspect was identified as 30-year-old Steven Wilbanks.
Wilbanks was placed under arrest but due to injuries he sustained, he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
He will be booked in jail following his release from the hospital.
The victim was also treated for injuries and released from the hospital.
Wilbanks is being charged with one count of domestic battery with a deadly weapon. It has an elder enhancement.
As this is an active investigation, no further details will be released at this time.
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Henderson Police have closed roads in the Inspirada neighborhood due to a family disturbance.
On Dec. 18 HPD and fire responded to the 3000 block of Lumassina Way in Henderson.
Lumassina Way is currently closed as an investigation is ongoing. Heavy police presence remain on the scene.
According to police one person has been taken to the hospital. Their injuries remain unknown at this time.
