Police: Clark County teacher arrested for child abuse

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Clark County School District Police arrested a teacher for child abuse.
Police said 47-year-old Mateusz Baran was assigned to Sunrise Acres Elementary School. He’s been employed with the district since July 2024.
Investigation started at the elementary school on December 12 this year.
“Per the negotiated agreement with the bargaining unit, he has been placed on paid leave,” police said.
