LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Every registered voter in Nevada should have received a mail-in ballot weeks ago.

That was not the case for FOX5 Investigates' Andryanna Sheppard. She started doing some research once early voting began on Saturday, October 19th, after she noticed her ballot was not in her mailbox.

According to the ballot tracking website BallotTrax, her ballot was shipped on October 10th and should have arrived two days later.

Sheppard called the Clark County Elections Department and was told a new one would be sent to her address.

A week later, Sheppard still did not have a ballot. She called again and was told her ballot was ‘cued’ to be sent out.

Concerned, Sheppard contacted a Clark County spokesperson and was told by the Elections Department her ballot would be sent through FedEx. This way, the department could track it. Sheppard’s ballot was delivered in less than 24 hours.

A Clark County spokesperson said the Elections Department can FedEx anyone’s ballot if they have experienced similar issues.

Voters should call (702) 455-VOTE (8683) to request a new ballot.

You may also pick up a ballot at the Clark County Elections Department, 965 Trade Dr., Suite A, in North Las Vegas.
