LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Two businesses near the Las Vegas Strip filed a lawsuit against Formula 1′s Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Battista’s and Stage Door Casino’s were filed Monday afternoon. The two blame the race for the losses they suffered during last year’s road construction and race.

Two businesses on the Las Vegas Strip filed a lawsuit against Formula 1′s Las Vegas Grand Prix.

It’s part of a group of several small businesses who say they collectively lost millions of dollars.

A spokesperson for the businesses provided a statement:

They have been asking for changes from the race to stop the return of the temporary F1 bridge at Flamingo and Koval. They say the bridge will cause further financial harm.

The owner of Battista’s, Randy Markin, says each business is filing its own suit separately, and a judge could decide whether to hear it all together.

More filings are expected to come in this week.

Clark County and Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. say they are not able to comment on pending litigation.
