LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Formula One’s parent company says it’s rethinking its ticket strategies for the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Liberty Media’s CEO says going forward, they plan to increase the number of general admission tickets at the event, which tend to be cheaper.

Businesses announce a planned lawsuit against Formula One and Las Vegas-area government agencies after a spokesperson said they exhausted options.

He went on to talk about the impact of the race on the valley. He says the estimated economic impact was $1.2 billion, and that the average visitor spent 3.6 times more than what we would expect for a non-F1 event.

They are also looking into uses for the pit building at Flamingo and Koval for the rest of the year, but don’t expect that to be a major until 2024. They said it was used for some corporate events during the Super Bowl.
