LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The accused home invader at the center of a deadly police shooting was indicted by a Clark County grand jury Thursday.

Alejandra Boudreaux is facing four charges including assault with a deadly weapon, home invasion with a deadly weapon, child abuse, and fourth-degree arson.

According to court documents, Boudreaux turned the stove burners on and left them open during the incident in an attempt to start a fire in the home, which led to an additional charge of arson.

Police shot 43-year-old Brandon Durham on Nov. 12 as he struggled with Boudreaux during the home invasion.

Durham’s family is calling for the officer involved to be arrested in his fatal shooting.
